Garmin Rolls Out v15.27 Beta With Key Crash Fixes

Technology

Garmin continues refining its latest firmware for high-end smartwatches such as the Enduro 3, Fenix E, Fenix 8, and Tactix 8, releasing Beta Version 15.27. While the company hasn’t finalized a stable software update, this new beta addresses multiple bugs and crash issues, aiming to enhance performance and stability.

Despite earlier hopes, Beta v15.27 is not the final release in the v15.xx beta cycle. Garmin has temporarily disabled features like Aviation, Dive, and ECG, indicating further beta testing is still required.

Key Fixes in Garmin Beta v15.27:

  • Fixed crash after enabling Live Event Share
  • Fixed crash when selecting a recent course from a saved app
  • Fixed crash related to the Women’s Health app
  • Resolved issue where Daily Summary failed to appear before sleep
  • Corrected HIIT workout round count display
  • Fixed repetitive Lactate Threshold prompts
  • Centered icons in the Music App glance
  • Addressed crash when loading maps
  • Patched various passcode-related bugs
  • Updated Pulse Ox Glance to display “No Data” instead of “–” during sleep/all-day modes

This marks the tenth public build in the v15.xx development series, excluding updates like the recent Voice Command Files patch. With over 150 changes introduced since the last stable release, users can expect a more polished experience once the final version rolls out.

Garmin’s commitment to refining user experience and resolving critical issues reflects its dedication to delivering reliable performance across its premium smartwatch lineup.
