Samsung has confirmed its next Galaxy Unpacked event for Wednesday, July 9, at 10AM ET, with the teaser line “Ultra Unfolds” strongly hinting at a new premium foldable smartphone—possibly even branded under the Ultra name.
In advance of the reveal, Samsung is offering a $50 credit to anyone who reserves the upcoming device now and later follows through with a preorder and purchase. To claim the offer, users must fill out a simple reservation form with their name and email. While this credit can’t be used toward the phone itself, it can be spent on other items in the Samsung online store.
Reserving early also enters you into a sweepstakes to win a $5,000 Samsung gift card.
Rumors and early leaks point toward the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, and possibly a slimmer Ultra-branded foldable with an upgraded camera system—something Samsung teased in a press release earlier this month. The tagline and artwork further support the idea of a more powerful, camera-focused foldable lineup.
