PAX East is canceled, an online event anticipated July

PAX East will not go ahead this year, the event’s coordinators, ReedPop and Penny Arcade, declared on Monday.
That is in spite of a later than usual beginning date to represent the pandemic. The initial plan was to hold the expo between June 3rd and 6th in Boston.
Knowing the circumstance, coordinators didn’t sell any tickets or exhibitor spots.
ReedPop and Penny Arcade say they’re “cautiously optimistic” PAX West and PAX Unplugged will actually want to continue as planned. The two events are presently planned for September third to sixth and December tenth to twelfth, respectively.
“We will only move forward with a live PAX once we are confident the show will be safe for everyone,” the group said.
The expectation is PAX will actually want to get back to Boston in 2022. Meanwhile, the plan is to hold another PAX Online.
This year, it will kick on July fifteenth and go through to the 18th, with more subtleties to come soon.
