Apple has officially released iOS 18.5, with the highlight being a stunning new Pride Harmony wallpaper to celebrate Pride Month. The colorful, animated background pays tribute to the LGBTQ+ community and dynamically shifts as users interact with their iPhones.
You can find the new wallpaper under Settings > Wallpaper or by long-pressing the lock screen. A matching Pride Harmony watch face is also available with watchOS 11.5, designed to complement Apple’s recently launched Pride Edition Sport Band.
What Else Is New in iOS 18.5?
While the update doesn’t bring major overhauls, it includes a couple of small improvements:
- Mail App: New option to show or hide contact photos. Just tap the three-dot menu in the Mail app and toggle “Show Contact Photos.”
- Settings > AppleCare: Redesigned AppleCare and Warranty banner, with a new “Learn more about coverage” link.
As always, the update is available via Settings > General > Software Update.
This update is more about symbolism and subtle refinements than big new features, but it continues Apple’s commitment to inclusivity and user personalization.
