Jessica Raine, Peter Capaldi are collaborating for the Amazon Prime Video series ‘The Devil’s Hour’

‘Patrick Melrose’ star Jessica Raine and ‘Doctor Who’ alum Peter Capaldi are collaborating for “The Devil’s Hour”, an Amazon Prime Video series, the streamer declared Tuesday. Composed and made by Tom Moran, the six-part mind-bowing thriller will be directed by Johnny Allan and Isabelle Sieb. A UK Original series, the show additionally stars Nikesh Patel (Starstruck), Meera Syal (Yesterday, Goodness Gracious Me), Alex Ferns (Chernobyl), Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso), Barbara Marten (Sanctuary), Thomas Dominique (Blood Drive), Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty (The Donmar Warehouse’s All-Female Shakespeare Trilogy), John Alastair (Swimming with Men), Sandra Huggett (Coronation Street) and rookie Benjamin Chivers.
Filming for the new series begins this month in London and Farnborough Studios.
As indicated by the streamer, “The Devil’s Hour” follows the story of Lucy (Raine), who is woken each night by terrifying visions at precisely 3.33 am: devil’s hour. Her eight-year-old child is withdrawn and emotionless. Her mom speaks to empty chairs. Her home is spooky by the echoes of a life that isn’t her own.
At the point when Lucy’s name is mysteriously associated with a string of brutal murders nearby, the appropriate responses that have sidestepped her this load of years will at last come into focus. “The Devil’s Hour” will be produced by Hartswood Films, the banner behind hit British series like “Dracula” and “Sherlock”. Sue Vertue, Steven Moffat and Moran will serve as executive producers on the show.
