Hulu Originals keeps on extending its team, naming Dane Joseph its new director of unscripted series.

In the role, Joseph will manage Hulu’s developing record of unscripted original series from improvement through production. He will answer to Belisa Balaban, head of unscripted and documentaries for Hulu Originals.

Joseph has over a decade of experience and joins Hulu from MTV Entertainment Group, where he served as VP of development, developing the organization’s true crime portfolio with Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly and the impending My True Crime Story, as well as creating series like My Celebrity Dream Wedding and True Life: First Time First Responders.

Before his time at MTV and VH1, Joseph worked at Hot Snakes Media, making Your Husband is Cheating on Us for Bravo and working being developed and casting for series across different networks including The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns for Lifetime, Breaking Amish, Return to Amish and Escaping Alaska for TLC and Extinct or Alive for Animal Planet, among others.
