Fans of the Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush are in for a treat as the popular reality series is getting another spinoff.
Gold Rush: Winter’s Fortune will give a first-since forever look inside the “high-stakes gambles of the gold-mining offseason” as one mining season closes and the battle for the next one starts. Fan top choices Tony Beets, Rick Ness, Dave Turin, Fred Lewis and Dustin Hurt will all feature in the series as they plot and plan approaches to get back their next gold haul.
The series will focus on how taking off gold costs have started a land grab, sending a few excavators scrambling to chase down new gold-rich cases while others set off to construct another stockpile of earth-moving machines. Yet, with cold conditions making even the least difficult assignments close to unimaginable, they’ll need to battle through subfreezing temperatures and heaps of snow to discover achievement.
In the show, Rick will uncover some astonishing news that he expectations will persuade his group that he has his eye solidly on what’s to come. In the mean time, veteran excavator Tony expects to get the ball really rolling by betting everything by betting large number of dollars on an unsafe beast apparatus redesign. Also, master prospector Dave battles to discover new ground to build his gold check from last season.
Somewhere else, military veteran and Gold Rush youngster Fred attempts to persuade his family and military siblings to go along with him this season for another go. Also, “Dare Devil Miner” Dustin should endure a mission to watch that his camp has not been obliterated by ongoing avalanches in Haines, which could be a staggering blow going into the new mining season.
Winter’s Fortune is the most recent in a line of Gold Rush spinoff series. Gold Rush: Freddy Dodge’s Mine Rescue debuted back in January to agree with the dispatch of Discovery+. Other side projects incorporate Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine, Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail, Gold Rush: White Water, Gold Rush: South America and Gold Rush: The Jungle.
The series is set to debut at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Friday, July 30, on Discovery and Discovery+.
