American Airlines flight redirected to Seattle over an ‘unruly passenger’

A flight initially headed from Tokyo Narita to Dallas-Forth Worth was redirected to Seattle on Wednesday morning due to an “unruly passenger,” as indicated by a statement from American Airlines.
A traveler on American Airlines flight 60 was making a disturbance which included thrashing about and making loud noises, as indicated by a source recognizable to the event. The group endeavored to deescalate the circumstance and the decision was then made to redirect the plane to SeaTac to eliminate the traveler from the flight.
A Port of Seattle agent affirmed that a “reported unruly passenger was deplaned” and arrested by government authorities. The plane refueled and withdrew about 11:39 a.m.
63 travelers and 13 group individuals were on the flight, agreeing with American Airlines.
